Train seriously, study seriously. The week is built around the training block rather than the other way round, and when a competition takes your child away, one to one time with a subject teacher is unlimited.

Lessons are recorded, and what your child misses gets covered afterwards rather than skipped.
Unlimited one to one, any time
On Academy there is no cap on one to one time with a subject teacher, which is what turns a missed week into a caught-up week.
Bridge exists for exactly this
Five lessons a week and more space around them. For a student travelling for competitions or studying another programme at the same time, a full timetable is not always practical.

Own scheduleNo fixed live timetable. Students use recorded lessons and course materials and organise study around their own schedule. They are still following the course, just doing it differently.

Term begins 14 September
Houses and form groups are settled in the first week. A child who starts with everyone else meets a form group that is also finding its feet. Join later and the friendships have already formed, which is harder, though plenty of students do it and settle well.
We do take students mid-year. September is simply the easier week to arrive.

The things parents ask first
What happens when a competition takes a week?
Lessons are recorded, so nothing is simply missed, and one to one time with a subject teacher is unlimited on Academy. In practice the week gets covered afterwards rather than left as a gap in the syllabus.
Should we be on Academy or Bridge?
It depends on how many hours the sport takes. Bridge gives five lessons a week and more space around them, which suits a heavy training load; Academy is the full week with a Mentor. We will tell you at the consultation which one actually fits, including if that is the cheaper one.
Can my child study from a training camp abroad?
Yes. Lessons are timetabled and recorded, and families join us from across the world. We will be straight with you about which parts of the day work from a given time zone and which do not.

Do we have to wait for term to start?
